1. Schedule A Session
- Click here to book an appointment that works for you.
- Pick your desired appointment time slot.
- If you have your documents available, you can upload them using a secure file sharing link (P2P), Google Drive, Dropbox, or you can choose to email them.
- Finally, you will provide the documents and identity verification information required for all signers. Once you submit the booking time, you will receive a confirmation email for your time slot which will include detailed instructions.
2. Video Call
- You will receive instructions via email on joining the video conference.
- At the start of the meeting, your notary will go over basic information and verify your identity using your two forms of ID. All signers and witnesses’ identification must be verified before proceeding with our online session. If you are not a US citizen and do not have a US government-issued ID, visit our authority’s website to review a list of acceptable IDs.
- Once your identity has been verified, the notary will start the session.
- Simply follow your notary’s instructions for digitally signing the document(s).
3. Receive Documents
For RON sessions you will receive the final notarized PDF version via email.
Before you schedule an appointment…
- Documents need to be received at least 2 hours prior to appointment.
- At The Notary Promise, LLC, we understand that sometimes plans change and you may need to cancel your appointment with us. Please review the following cancelation policy to understand your rights and responsibilities.
- To cancel your appointment, please contact us at least 3 hours in advance of your scheduled appointment time.
- If you do not provide at least 3 hours’ cancellation notice, you may be charged a cancellation fee of $75.
- If you need to reschedule your appointment, please contact us as soon as possible to discuss availability.
- If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment without providing notice of cancellation, you may be charged a no-show fee of $75.
- We reserve the right to refuse to provide our services to any individual who repeatedly cancels or reschedules their appointments without providing adequate notice.
- If a closing doesn’t go according to plan, where one party cancels their closing after their documents have been notarized, the full price of the agreed closing cost stands and shall be paid for by the party.
